==> The easiest and most economical is the basic DRIVING LOOP vacation which starts and ends in your driveway.
==> A FLY n' DRIVE vacation in which I fly you off to another part of the USA or Canada, put you in a rental car or an RV, then I fly you home after you finish your driving vacation.
==> A CRUISE n' DRIVE vacation in which your vacation either starts or ends with a cruise.
==> A RAIL n' DRIVE vacation in which your vacation either starts or ends with rail travel.

2008 is a great year to consider Vacation Alternatives...
• Cruises from a Cruise Port near your home to avoid the expense of air travel. All major cruise ports have hotels with optional stay-park and cruise packages… plus the cruise lines and ports often have packages as well. You might also wish considering taking the train from home to the cruise port! Convenient Cruise Port examples in the Pacific Northwest include: Seattle, Vancouver, BC and river cruises on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. Ask Neal for details soon… 2008 staterooms are going fast!
• Deluxe train travel… this option is especially viable for couples, pairs of friends, or smaller families. Travel includes a private sleeper room, all meals on the train… and your transportation. Pricing and amenity levels vary with the provider… examples include: Amtrak, Via Rail in Canada, Rocky Mountaineer, and a number of smaller public and private rail options nationwide. Some rail packages include overnight hotel stays either in addition to on-train sleepers, or in lieu of on-train sleepers on smaller lines. Ask Neal for details on how you can see the parts of the USA and Canada which you can only see by rail… and on a reasonable budget!
